Read MoreFrom the moment we were picked up from the airport in an incredibly luxurious shuttle bus (kids thought we were celebrities!) to the moment we were picked up to regrettably leave and the staff handed us cold water and ran to our room to make sure we hadn’t left anything behind, our stay at Silk Sense was perfect. The location is away from the old town, in a quiet area on the river and only two minutes’ walk from the beach. The beach there isn’t very scenic, but lovely to swim in and the beach where you can sit under umbrellas and order drinks is only a two minute taxi away. Pool area is serene, the nearby gardens are immaculate, the food and drinks are excellent, the daily activities and afternoon tea with local snacks were wonderful…but the real stand out was the staff. Everyone was so kind and lovely and genuinely friendly. They really cared about us and making our stay special. We will definitely recommend this to friends and family. Particular note of thanks to Nhung, a lovely young lady on the front desk who was just so kind and hospitable to our whole family. Read Less
