The resort occupies only 30% of its total land area, leaving the majority as fresh, green open space. From its inception, Silk Sense has consistently pursued a plastic-free tourism model across all operations while actively implementing energy- and resource-saving solutions, such as:

• Replacing all single-use plastic bottles in guest rooms with premium glass bottles, combined with healthy and eco-friendly Kangen alkaline water
• Switching to biodegradable or recyclable materials for all items in restaurants and minibars, from straws and containers to packaging
• Running its own Caman organic garden, which supplies fresh produce to on-site restaurants ensuring quality, shortening the supply chain, and reducing packaging waste
• Eliminating all plastic bags and boxes in internal operations, opting instead for eco-friendly alternatives such as cloth bags, wooden containers, and kraft paper
• Using a mineral salt infinity pool instead of chlorine, ensuring guest health while minimizing water pollution
• Installing energy-saving air-conditioning systems and optimizing building design for natural light and ventilation to reduce electricity consumption
• Sorting waste at source and training staff in international-standard waste management practices
• Partnering with AutoTech Vietnam to apply the Waste2Green organic waste treatment technology, processing nearly 24 tons of organic waste by 2024 into bio-fertilizer, which is then used directly in the resort’s gardens and landscaping.
