Quảng Nam: Du Lịch “Khách Sạn Không Rác Thải Nhựa”

Ngày 9/9, tại TP Hội An, tỉnh Quảng Nam lần đầu tiên ra mắt mô hình “Khách sạn không rác thải nhựa” thải ra môi trường và du khách không còn đồ nhựa dùng một lần.
Theo ông Vũ Thế Bình, Chủ tịch Hiệp hội Du Lịch Việt Nam, việc TP Hội An ứng dụng mô hình “Khách sạn không rác thải nhựa” là một hành động cụ thể, mang ý nghĩa lớn đối với việc tạo sức lan toả cho cộng đồng doanh nghiệp du lịch không chỉ ở Hội An mà trên địa bàn cả nước về quyết tâm thực hiện phát triển du lịch bền vững ở Việt Nam.
Theo ông Bình, dự án “Giảm thiểu rác thải nhựa trong lĩnh vực du lịch Việt Nam” được Hiệp hội Du lịch Việt Nam tích cực triển khai và thực hiện trong 2 năm 2023-2024. Với mục tiêu thúc đẩy các hoạt động giảm thiểu rác thải nhựa trong lĩnh vực du lịch, góp phần bảo vệ môi trường và phát triển bền vững của ngành du lịch.
Thông qua dự án “Giảm thiểu rác thải nhựa trong lĩnh vực du lịch Việt Nam”, sẽ truyền đi thông điệp mạnh mẽ, kêu gọi sự nỗ lực, chung tay góp sức của người dân, doanh nghiệp, cộng đồng và du khách vì mục tiêu: Du lịch không rác thải nhựa ở Việt Nam”. Trong đó, TP Hội An duy trì vị trí là điểm đến đi đầu trong việc thực hiện các biện pháp bảo vệ môi trường ở Việt Nam và sắp đến sẽ vận động, lan tỏa mô hình này trên cả nước – Chủ tịch Hiệp hội Du lịch Việt Nam chia sẻ…
Ông Nguyễn Thanh Hồng, Giám đốc Sở Văn hóa, Thể thao và Du lịch tỉnh Quảng Nam cũng cho rằng Silk Sense Hoi An Rivert Resort là mô hình “Khách sạn không rác thải nhựa” được ứng dụng tiên phong tại TP Hội An và cả tỉnh Quảng Nam. Mô hình có ý nghĩa rất lớn đối với việc tạo sức lan toả cho cộng đồng doanh nghiệp du lịch không chỉ ở Hội An mà trên địa bàn cả nước về quyết tâm thực hiện phát triển thương hiệu du lịch xanh bền vững.
Được biết, trong năm 2023, ngành Du lịch của tỉnh Quảng Nam sẽ tiếp tục tuyên truyền, phát động cho tất cả các doanh nghiệp Du lịch đồng hành để thực hiện Bộ tiêu chí du lịch xanh. Cụ thể, đã có hơn 20 đơn vị doanh nghiệp đăng ký thực hiện Bộ tiêu chí du lịch xanh, tham gia dự án “Giảm thiểu rác thải nhựa trong lĩnh vực du lịch Việt Nam” được thực hiện trong năm 2023 -2024. Việc triển khai Bộ tiêu chí du lịch xanh tỉnh Quảng Nam và dự án “Khách sạn không rác thải nhựa” đã góp phần bảo vệ môi trường và phát triển bền vững của ngành du lịch xanh.
